Winter: Afternoon Skating

Winter: Afternoon Skating

It’s been at least a few years since there’s been skating on Paper Goods Pond. Last year, it was too warm; the pond never froze solid. The year before, the snow was too deep for the town to keep it plowed. This week, we had the perfect combination of snowless days with temps that never got above freezing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! If I saw this as a card, I’d buy it. But I’d never send it because I wouldn’t want to part with it.

This is incredible. I love that there is a space between the reeds for us to view to the hockey. Really makes it feel like you are part of the picture. Really stunning.
