Spring: Fallen petals

Spring: Fallen petals

My first post in this series was that of our magnolia in full bloom. The glory is short-lived: now we have a carpet of pink and white magnolia blossoms. Taken with the LensBaby Muse with the plastic optic which imparts a softer dreamy cast.

Love the dreamy quality of this image. With all the petals scattered about, I almost expect the garden fairies to start dancing.

I wonder what it’d be like to be barefoot and walk on this carpet of blossoms… processing is perfectly chosen for this image.
