Old: Crusader knight

Old: Crusader knight

We spent the afternoon at the Worcester Armory Museum, dedicated to a display of armor and weapons from the age of armor. It’s closing in a few weeks, so this was a last chance to see this amazing collection at this site. This is one of the knights of the Crusades.

I didn’t know it was closing. That museum was on my list of places I wanted to visit some day (with a wife and two daughters it wasn’t high on their list).

Very creative composition it gives an extra strength feel to the armored man and the monotones are icing on this cake.

Your processing takes us back to the knight days…LOVE your perspective!

  4. John & Lois says:

I love the energy in this composition with the head gear in perfect focus and the hand blurred. Looks like the knight is moving forward.

Bobbie, the collection is going to the Worcester Art Museum and they will have a dedicated gallery for it that will allow them to show more pieces than are on display at the Higgins Armory Museum. A win-win, but I’m said to see it leave that marvelous building.
