At the end of the harvest, a few apples are left on the trees in the orchard near our home.
Looks like this guy has seen better days…love the texture in the worn out apple though!
An offer to the agrarian gods no doubt!

Great shot. It’s all in the eye – I found a similar version of that apple lurking, forgotten, in the back of the refrigerator this weekend during a moment of overdue cleaning! Never entered my mind to photograph the thing! I need to slow down and pay more attention I think.

The squishiness of that forgotten apple is so evident..bet it smells vinegary too! The curvy lines of the branches frame it so nicely.
